I bought this as a second scale for our busy Farmers Market booth. The scale itself seems accurate, it passed inspection by our county weights and measures official. It's strong point..... the platform is great. Customers hand us a cloth bag stuffed with apples that on a regular pan would fall all over the place. With this pan the product is nicely contained and doesn't spill. I was looking forward to having a NEW scale so I could have a user manual to figure out how to use some of the more advanced features. Sorry to say the instruction manual is not understandable, confusing, and almost useless. Other problems: the cover of the battery compartment doesn't hold closed. We put some duck tape on it. AND.... when you plug it in to an AC outlet to re-charge, there's no indication that the thing is charging or when the charge is completed. No blinking icon, nothing, unless you leave it turned on.
