Terrific Toaster Oven
Cheaper by far than a new item and arrived in beautiful condition, and is working quite well. The outside of the oven does get quite hot, so might not be appropriate for households with young children. Its also a bit strange that the oven as fancy as it is does not have a timer function as a typical microwave does (good for timing cooling off of items).
A side note about remanufactured items -- my parents once worked for a Large American electronics & appliances firm (NOT Breville), my father in fact worked on a line that handled returned items. I can pass on from them that large manufacturing firms DO NOT put every item that is packaged to sell through any quality control (big surprise), it would be too expensive, at best they check a few items per lot.
