This is a pretty good set if you're curious about absinthe. I recommend you try it somewhere first before spending this much for a starter kit. The fountain itself is good though I was a little let down that the spouts are made of chromed plastic. They screw in with two rubber gaskets and make sure they are secured tightly. The glasses are large and not too fancy. The spoons arrived with a layer of grease or something on them so make sure you wash them well before using. The fountain, glasses, and spoons when used correctly will give you a fun "louche" experience. I had read that the bouquet of herbs will come off the glass when you begin dropping water on to the sugar, and this was correct. I was surprised by how the smells of anise filled the air. Very cool! Enjoy a unique drinking experience! Buy this kit if you really want to do it the French way.
