Stock Pot with Lid Size: 8 Gallon Random customer review :
Home Brew pot
Perfect for 5 Gallon batches. Tall and narrow for better convection. The matching Bayou Classic ball valve, filter screen, thermometer and false bottom fit well.

Drill it your self and mount the valve and thermometer about 45-50 degrees off center close to the handle will make lifting much easier. If you drill on the back you can use the stamped scale with the addition of a sight gauge. The thick triply bottom is a must for my electric stove.

I used 2 Neiko Heavy Duty Titanium Step Drill Bits to drill the holes after first drilling a pilot hole. I used vegetable oil as a nontoxic coolant and lubricant to make cleanup easier.

Looses 1 star for dents had to return the first one I received due to a sharp cress and dent at the base. the replacement had a small dimple but not one that would potentially compromise the pot still quite aggravating.
