Bad Product
This blender is very powerful but the container can not with stand anything. It is plastic and why they would have a plastic container on a machine with this kind of horsepower is crazy. I went through 2 containers in 1 1/2 months and that includes the shipping time to get the new container to me. They crack and leak and really make a mess. The moter seems fine, even though the variable speeds didn't work on mine and I had to return it to have those fixed also. This is included in the time period I already listed. So I probably only used it about 30 times or so. I only made smoothies with frozen fruit that it blended well... until the container cracked. Don' waste you money! Update: I contacted Warehouse 8 to return the blender and they refused to pay the return shipping. (Over 30 days! most of which I never had the unit anyway.) I spent the 20.00 to return it to them and they said they could not credit me the full amount because I did not include the original broken container...
