Beautiful, but damaged
Let me say the table is beautiful.... I'm sure I would have given it 5 stars if I could actually use it! The leaf came to us busted. After we had put everything together - all 8 stools and the table, we go to put the leaf in only to find that it is completely busted off the hinges. This does not seem like a life ending problem...I just assume I would call my handy Amazon representative and they would tell me they could replace the leaf... WRONG! They wanted us to disassemble the entire collection and send it all back! If you have ever unpacked 8 stools and a table you would know there is not much left to the packing material afterwards. The ONLY problem is a 2 inch strip of wood busted off the hinges of the butterfly leaf thereby making the table useless to me. I would be willing the leaf back, but not the entire collection all I need is the leaf fixed! It is impossible to get these items back in the boxes and I cannot believe this is what they would demand. I asked to contact the...
