Compact, sturdy, and easy to assemble
Our kitchen had a very tight space for a pot rack and due to recessed lighting and a fire suppression system the Old Dutch Pot Rack seemed like the a perfect solution as it was very compact. We definitely wanted to free up storage space and the rack goes great with our décor and the All Clad pots and pans we have. It hangs down just the right amount over our center island at 21 inches so it's not obtrusive and doesn't block the view to the dining room, living room, sun room, or television, and yet our most often used pots and pans are within easy reach of the stove, not to mention it shows off our All Clad quite nicely. Assembly was VERY easy with only eight screws total to attach everything. The toughest part was trying to find a stud in the ceiling to attach it to. Stud finders will not typically work on ceilings and so we were left to using photos of construction, various uses of stud finders, rough measurements, soundings on the ceiling, random attempts using long thin...
