Excellent electric grill
After dealing with the mess and headache of a grill that rusted through last year, we wanted something to BBQ hamburgers and steaks, but I didn't want to justify the and hassle of an outdoor grill. I chose this because if it didn't work out, then it would still replace another cheaper griddle we already had. The Griddle is pretty flat (I wouldn't say perfectly flat, but much better than the $20 griddle this replaces) and the grill works well. We don't get the "flame kissed" appearance and taste, but I think we'll survive. I considered the char-broil Tru Infrared from Home Depot, but going this route saved us approx $150 and we can use it year round. Also, no worries about running out of propane in the middle of cooking.
This won't impress your friends and family if you try to use it for a 'cook-out', but it works great for a grilled dinner or to griddle up a nice breakfast for the family. It's large size allows you to cook meat, eggs and potatoes at the same time...
