More than a pot, it's a LIFESAVER for the working woman!
I'm not a natural cook and, I'm ashamed to say, for most of my adult life I've depended on restaurants, ready-meals and junk food. Well, I'm older now, I won't say wiser, but I'm finally changing some of my ways. I still don't have the energy or time when I stagger home from work to cook a balanced meal, but I do eat my own home cooking almost every night. This summer I bought my first Dutch/French oven, followed by another, followed by the Buffet Casseroles (HIGHLY recommended!) and finally, a whole lot of pyrex. These vessels really inspire me to cook, partly because they are so attractive and easy to clean, and partly because I'm always satisfied with the results. They really make me wonder why I ever thought I couldn't cook. I generally spend Sunday afternoon cooking and freeze part of that. Through a little juggling I can eat the same meal for the early part of the week (microwaved - so much faster and easier than restaurants) and then rely on the freezer for variety later...
