Not what I was hoping
I shopped around for a while before I purchased a kitchen island and when I saw this one on amazon I really liked it and the price was amazing, so I decided to buy it. I placed my order on Sept 14 and received the island on the 20th and I put it together right away. There were a few issues I had with the quality of the wood but I just decided to let those go. But, when we got to the "stainless steel" top it was horrible. It's just draped over wood and on mine it was clear they hadn't pulled it all the way and it bubbled and caused a visible ripple. I contacted the seller and they were great about it (the people I spoke to are the reason I have the product 3 stars and not 2) they offered me a small discount and a replacement top. I just received the replacement top and while this one doesn't have any ripples or bubbles it has scratches and all four sides of the top look worn and discolored. The sticky paper that was on the top of it was scratched and as I expected the stainless steel...
