Awesome ... This solved a problem
My pool pump is a good distance from the pool and it is uphill to the pump and filter. Because of this, if the pump was set to low, sometimes the pump would not prime itself and just sit there pumping air that creeps into the pipes. After installing this unit I programmed it to turn on at high speed for five minutes and then, after the pump is primed, switch to slow speed for normal filtering and circulation. It works beautifully, solved my problem and is saving me money on utility bills since the pump now only works on high for ten minutes a day (the pump cycles twice a day). I highly recommend this unit!
