Excellent addition to the family entertainment room
First off, I am totally pleased with the look and construction of this credenza. It is made of solid wood and it looks fantastic in my entertainment room. I use it to house my amplifier, cable tv box and inside I hold a 6 inch subwoofer. The top was just the right height for me to place my Sony speakers so that now they are nestled right under my mounted 50" plasma TV. Assembly takes about 1.5 to 2 hours as there are many pieces and most of them are quite heavy. The designs on the wood are very good looking as well. It is just a solid piece of furniture that served the purpose I needed it for, perfectly.
The cupboards come with shelves that you can use to stack DVD's, Bluray's, etc. However, they are quite deep, so if these will be your movie holders, I would recommend putting a small box in the back so your movies have something to lean against. Otherwise, everytime you reach for a movie in your stack, the whole stack of movies will push farther back into the unit...
