I have never given a 1-star rating solely on the performance of the seller, instead believing a rating should be on the item itself, but in this case I made an acception. People need to know how crooked this seller is. I love Blendtec and this blender, although VERY USED, was awsome. My actual rating/review of the blender is at the very bottom. Thanks for reading!
Anyway.... I purchased this item for the two hundred fifty price August 19th or so 2011. I thought I was getting a great deal and THOUGHT I was getting a "manufacturer refurbished" item. "Manufacturer refurbished" means the item is completely gone over by the manufacturer, in this case Blendtec, and made sellable again. When the item arrived & I pulled it out of the box I was hugely disappointed. I knew the ad stated that the unit would show *some* signs of use, but this was terrible! The plastic noise shield was cracked and scratched in several places. A metal rod was sticking out from the hinge. The blender jar...
