I am so happy with these chairs! The color is not a light gray by any means - it's more of a taupe/brown/darker gray color, which was great for me, as my rug has swirls of brown, gray, and blue in it. This chair is so much more comfortable that my old wooden chairs - I'll never go back to wooden! Also, I am so glad I didn't pay $1000 for genuine leather - at $215 if anything happens to the chair, I can easily replace it. So far, none of my guests have discovered my chairs are bicast leather! The only problem I did have, which was solved easily, was that one of the chairs didn't have enough padding where the arm of the chair meets the seat of the chair on one side. Home Decorator's Collection and Amazon made returning the chair so easy!. Don't know yet if they will pay for the shipping on the return - I think they should because the product was defective, but I'll let you know. Overall, two thumbs up!
