Glad I Chose This Model
I've bragged about this roaster on my website and on my blog, so felt it was only right that I come back here and right a review. I've owned roasters on and off for years and when it came time to buy a new one, I looked at a lot of models. I kept coming back to this Nesco. Unlike the cheap roaster ovens you can buy at the local supercenter, the Nesco is well-build, sturdy and made with quality, heavy duty materials.
I've used the roaster several times during the last month or so to cook for a crowd. It handles 10 pounds of chicken quarters in barbecue sauce just fine, cooking the entire batch in around 3 hours at 350 degrees. The meat was litterly falling from the bones on every quarter.
The enamel cooking well is easy to clean with a sponge and a scrubby for even what appears to be baked on. The rest of the appliance is easily wiped down with a damp sponge. Although large, the oven sits on the counter waiting for that next big meal. I'm glad I went with...
