I'm no gourmet cook, but I'm satisfied...
I like this set. It's pretty simple to clean and I'm getting used to cooking with it. It heats up more easily than my last set, but unlike some other reviews have noted, I haven't burnt anything so far. I just had to get used to cooking on a setting or two under the recommended because of the core that intensifies the heat.
I only have two complaints, and they both involve the lids. When I'm boiling something, sometimes the steam will escape from several sides of the lid. This may just be because I'm boiling at a higher temp. than necessary; not sure. The other complaint is that, unlike the handle to any of the pots and pans, the handles to the lids heat up quite a bit. I usually need an oven mitt to remove them.
Other than what has been mentioned, great set. I should also note that I'm a bit of a klutz and have dropped the same glass lid twice now on my kitchen floor and it still looks brand new, so I think we can assume this set is somewhat...
